A investigação apontava que um Hyundai/HB20 era usado para transportar as armas de fogo, que possivelmente seriam distribuídas para organizações criminosas na região. Os policiais rodoviários federais localizaram o carro em uma empresa de aluguel de veículos e realizaram uma vistoria minuciosa.
Além das pistolas calibre 9mm, foram encontradas cinco miras holográficas, que são dispositivos que auxiliam na precisão dos disparos.
Diante dos fatos, todo material encontrado foi apreendido e encaminhado para Delegacia da Polícia Civil de Dourados que prossegue com as investigações.
