Em uma ação de rotina de combate ao crime, a Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) interceptou um carregamento ilegal na manhã da última quinta-feira (4) em Santa Rita do Pardo (MS). Escondidos sob uma carga de 30 toneladas de abóboras, os agentes descobriram 1.225 kg de maconha, um arsenal composto por três fuzis, duas pistolas e mais de 600 munições.
A apreensão teve início com base em denúncias de usuários da rodovia sobre um caminhoneiro que apresentava comportamento irregular no trânsito. A equipe da PRF localizou o veículo em um comércio à beira da rodovia e logo durante a entrevista com o motorista e a vistoria do caminhão, os policiais notaram instabilidade na carga de abóboras, sinalizando risco de queda durante o transporte. Ao retirar a lona para checagem, a surpresa: diversos fardos pretos foram avistados, revelando a verdadeira natureza do carregamento.
Dentro dos fardos, a equipe da PRF encontrou a maconha escondida, totalizando 1.225 kg da droga. Para garantir o poder de fogo do crime, o motorista também transportava um arsenal: três fuzis de calibre 5.56mm com as numerações raspadas, duas pistolas calibre 9mm, vinte carregadores de munições e 665 munições.
Diante da apreensão, o caminhoneiro foi preso e encaminhado à Polícia Federal em Três Lagoas (MS), onde responderá pelos crimes de tráfico de drogas e porte ilegal de armas. Já a carga de abóboras, após ser fiscalizada pela Vigilância Sanitária de Santa Rita do Pardo, teve um destino mais nobre: foi doada à Prefeitura Municipal.
