A Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) abriu inscrições para novas turmas do Programa de Extensão de Ensino de Línguas (Progeli), oferecendo opções para quem deseja aprender um novo idioma no primeiro semestre de 2025. Além dos cursos tradicionais de inglês, espanhol, italiano, alemão, francês, Libras e português como língua de acolhimento, duas novas línguas foram incluídas: guarani e japonês.

Com aulas ministradas por estudantes e servidores da UFMS, o programa conta com a supervisão de professores orientadores. Os cursos terão duração de 50 horas, com início previsto para 24 de março e término em 12 de julho. As atividades serão realizadas presencialmente e também de forma online, com encontros ao vivo via Google Meet.

Os participantes poderão contar com plantões semanais para esclarecimento de dúvidas, realizados remotamente mediante agendamento. Para obter certificação ao final do curso, será necessário atingir média igual ou superior a 6,0 e ter pelo menos 75% de presença nas aulas.

O valor da matrícula é único, sem cobrança de mensalidade. O investimento para a maioria dos cursos é de R$ 450 no boleto à vista ou R$ 470 no cartão de crédito. Para quem optar pelo parcelamento, há opções em duas vezes de R$ 237 ou três de R$ 160.

Já os cursos de Libras e Guarani possuem valores diferenciados, com taxa de R$ 250 no boleto à vista, R$ 260 no cartão ou parcelamento em duas vezes de R$ 135. O curso de português como língua de acolhimento será gratuito.

Estudantes em situação de vulnerabilidade socioeconômica poderão solicitar isenção da taxa de matrícula, mediante apresentação de documentação comprobatória no Cadastro Único do Governo Federal.
