Aposentados e pensionistas do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS) começarão a ser notificados a partir desta terça-feira (13) sobre descontos realizados por associações que, em muitos casos, não foram autorizados pelos beneficiários. A comunicação será enviada exclusivamente pelo aplicativo Meu INSS
Segundo o órgão, cerca de 9 milhões de beneficiários receberão a mensagem, que trará o valor dos descontos e os nomes das entidades envolvidas. Quem identificar descontos não autorizados poderá, já na quarta-feira (14), solicitar o reembolso dos valores cobrados indevidamente.

O processo de verificação e reembolso será totalmente digital. Após receber a notificação, o beneficiário deverá informar se reconhece ou não os descontos. Em caso de negativa, o INSS notificará a associação para que devolva os valores cobrados.
Não será necessário apresentar documentos. A associação terá até 15 dias úteis para fazer o pagamento. Caso não cumpra o prazo, o instituto acionará a entidade judicialmente.

Os ressarcimentos cobrirão prejuízos causados entre março de 2020 e março de 2025 , período durante o qual milhões de aposentados e pensionistas foram atingidos por cobranças de mensalidades associativas sem consentimento.
